Our Founder's Story
Carey Anne Nadeau worked for nearly a decade as a data scientist and analyst at the Brookings Institution and Urban Institute before founding Open Data Nation as a graduate student at MIT. At Open Data Nation, she brings expertise in open data and data science to bear on the most pressing urban issues.
In 2016, Carey Anne was named Washington Life Magazine's 25 Innovators and Disruptors, DCInno's 50 on Fire, and served as a District of Columbia Ambassador for creative technologists.
Carey Anne earned a Masters in City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Public Policy from The George Washington University.
