For the second consecutive year, the Open Data Institute of the UK has honored Open Data Nation as one of the top three businesses putting open data to good use. The judges, including Tim Berners-Lee, inventor of the Internet, currently choosing the winner, to be announced at the awards ceremony hosted by the ODI on November 1st.
Recognition from the Open Data Institute as a leading business in the open data industry, reaffirms our shared vision of a society where data informs and helps public agencies, that are overburdened and under-resourced, continue to provide necessary public services that keep us all safe and healthy. We are grateful and humbled for this honor.
In addition to celebrating business, ODI will be recognizing leaders in publishing, innovation and social impact, as well as individual champions and women in data. If you’re unable to be there in person then do join in the conversation on Twitter using #ODIAwards.
